To commemorate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and China, Huachiew Chalermprakiet University (HCU), in collaboration with 31 partner institutions from Thailand and abroad, successfully organized the 12th National and International Academic Conference under the theme “Learning for Social Service” on July 31, 2025, at Conference Room 502, Academic Building 2, HCU.
     The opening ceremony was presided over by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Uraipan Janvanichyanont , President of HCU, who delivered the welcome address and officially declared the conference open. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jonathan Rante Carreon, Vice President of HCU, presented the conference report. A congratulatory video message was also delivered by Prof. Gao Xiumei, President of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Certificates of appreciation were presented to domestic and international co-host institutions in recognition of their contributions to academic collaboration.
Two distinguished keynote speakers delivered plenary lectures:
     •    Mr. Joe Horn Pathanothai, Managing Director of Strategy 613 Co., Ltd., on “China-Thailand: The Next 50 Years of Economic Cooperation.”
     •    Prof. Dr. Wanchai De-eknamkul, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chulalongkorn University, on “Discovery of Natural Substances Stimulating Hair Growth.”
     In the afternoon, academic sessions were held across five sub-groups, covering Science and Technology; Health Sciences; Liberal Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences and Education; Business Administration and Economics; and Chinese Studies and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
     HCU extends its sincere gratitude to all partner institutions, paper presenters, and distinguished guests. The success of this conference not only provided a high-level platform for academic exchange but also strengthened Sino-Thai educational cooperation and cultural ties.
