Huachiew Chalermprakiet University’s (HCU) research project was an economic-driven study for the gourami fish – a well-known local product of the Bang Bo municipality in the province of Samutprakarn. 

 

    The study was presented in the virtual conference, Transforming University for the Future: The New Role of Universities to Develop the Local Community, which was held on Thursday, the 10th of September 2020. The event was facilitated and hosted by the Area Development Fund Administrative and Management Unit (ADFAMU) in Miracle Grand Convention Hotel, Bangkok. It is was one in a series of five research studies on the same topic.

 

     Led by Assoc. Prof Isaya Janwithayanuchit, the Vice-President for Academic Affairs, the HCU Research Team felicitously upheld the university’s guiding principle: “To Pursue Knowledge to Serve Society”
