Assoc. Prof. Dr. Uraipan Janvanichyanont, the President of Huachiew Chalermprakiet University (HCU), received the Honor Award Trophy (on behalf of the HCU community) on 28 March 2023 at the Department of Environmental Quality Promotion, Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources. The trophy was awarded to HCU after it exhibited outstanding recycling practices in the project "Recycling UHT Boxes".

The award is a concrete evidence of HCU's commitment toward addressing the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and a milestone to becoming a sustainability (not just a sustainable) university.
