Assoc. Prof. Dr. Uraipan Janvanichyanont, the President of Huachiew Chalermprakiet University (HCU), Pol. Maj. Gen. Chumphon Phumphuang, the Provincial Police Chief of Samut Prakarn, Asst. Prof. Nick Soonthorndhai, the Dean of the Faculty of Law, and Pol. Col. Peerasak Rodbon, the Superintendent of Bang Phli Police Station signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to exchange, promote and support each other in arranging teaching and learning courses in line with the police officers in Samut Prakan province, especially in the Bachelor of Laws (Weekend Program) of HCU.
The MOU also includes collaboration in human resource development and academic services, supervision of student welfare, and organization of communities around the university to raise a sense of social responsibility awareness, community ownership, community caring, and to integrate a mission of collaborative work.
The inaugural MOU signing, held on Friday, the 11th of September 2020 at the HCU Meeting Room 1 on the second floor of the Administration Building, was witnessed by the personnel from both parties, namely the two HCU Vice-Presidents: Assoc. Prof. Isaya Janwithayanuchit and Ajarn Chalong Khwaeng-in, Asst. Prof. Dr. Tanachai Suntonanantachai, the Associate Dean of the Faculty of Law, and some local police officers.
